Ryan Ghusayni, MD

Dr. Ghusayni was born in Naperville, Illinois and raised in Beirut, Lebanon. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the American University of Beirut, where he also attended medical school. Dr. Ghusayni then relocated to Durham, North Carolina to complete a post-doctoral research fellowship and neurology residency at Duke University Medical Center in 2022. He stayed at Duke to complete a neuromuscular fellowship in 2023.

Dr. Ghusayni is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in General Neurology and Neuromuscular Medicine. He performs EMG and nerve conduction studies and is board certified by the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine. He is a member of the American Academy of Neurology. In his spare time, Dr. Ghusayni enjoys running, playing board games, trying new restaurants, and travelling
