Dr. Pourdeyhimi specializes in Pediatric Movement Disorders and Child Neurology at Raleigh Neurology Associates. She received her BS in Biochemistry from North Carolina State University. After receiving an MD from the Medical University of South Carolina, Dr. Pourdeyhimi completed her residency in Child Neurology at the University of Rochester, Strong Memorial Hospital. She remained in Rochester to complete a clinical fellowship in Pediatric Movement Disorders.
Dr. Pourdeyhimi is board-certified in Neurology with Special Qualification in Child Neurology. Her additional fellowship training expanded her expertise in tics and Tourette syndrome and other movement disorders. Dr. Pourdeyhimi runs the Tic and Tourette Clinic at RNA as well as offering Botox injections for the treatment of movement disorders and pediatric migraine.
